Induction coil is the most under-estimated part of induction heating process. It looks like a trivial piece of copper tubing but importance of good coil design can be understood only when one  knows its impact on process efficiency, cycle time, safety and convenience. Induction heating coils can be generally chosen from a suggested range of standard designs. However, it often turns out to be a custom designed tool. In all the cases, it is important to address the basic requirements such as cross section, cooling etc., to ensure longevity of coil.
